Ah..here i m...back 2 my blog...after a sound afternoon nap....Thought of writing sumthing for navratras...its a gr8 occasion for Indians....(especially 4 a non vegetarian like me :D )...Omg....m toking bout chicken n fish in navratras.....yum...Lets change t topic....n focus on t real 1..So.Navratras are on..and there is feasting and fasting ol around....If you go for an outing....u get 2 know t actual navratra spirit...dandiya nights in farm houses...playing t best of beats n gujrati music :) Though i didnt get the chance 2 attend ol tht...no company..n moreover...no time....
Hey..but its not only n farms n ol..whr u get 2 c navratra spirit...go 2 any food resort..or restaurant...n u get special navratra food thr...n people binging on it...as if its 4 free :D No hard feelings again people..."carry on" ;)...u deserve it :)...btw..i m not here 2 discuss the varieties of navratra food...even though my punjabi blood diverts me 2 food everywhr :D
Anywz...cming 2 t point...what makes me think..is tht ...now a days...festivals r loosing thr values..n its just coz of us...I mean...people..n specially..delhites..or lets say metro crowd ( y blame delhi alone :P )...So, 4 them... festivals are all bout shopping..roaming..eating...n eatING...n EATING...no wonder..y these haldirams n bikanerwalas r earning billions every month...look at our eating capacity man..."its holi...cmon..lets go 4 outing..n have sum fun" ...which indirectly means...'lets go 2 eat ol sort of unhealhty food...full of calories n saturated fats'...n thts what most ppl do...I mean..is a festival..only bout eating..or shopping...arn't we loosing our culture...our grounds...Thanks 2 not so urban india ( part of india excluding metropolitan cities)....thts keeping t 'spirit of india' or in a way...it colors alive..evn now, if you go in villages or small towns...thy have thr same way of celebrating festivals..with ol relatives n frnds....with tht same simplicity n dignity..
Have you ever wondered..y rajasthan...being t most rural part of india...having no or less water...heat n sand ol around..is t fav holiday destination for foreigners???Coz of its rich culture...coz of its colors..n its simplicity...we are famous 4 our rich heritage...for our customs..traditions....n thats what v r loosing sumwhr now....sad but true..
BTW...Thats what happens...when you have a thinking mind.....your neural signals travel from food...reach navratras..n end up landing in rajasthan :) Nywz..this post of mine...was just a way 2 enlighten few neurons out of the millions...so tht v can keep our heritage n culture alive...coz if we wont do that..others are definately not going 2 follow it..n India will no more b a fav hotspot among foreigners...So guys...lets keep r spirits alive !!! Coz..V INDIANS ROCK..V SHINE !!! :)
